NOTICE OF AND OPPORTUNITY FOR COMMENT ON AMENDMENTS TO THE LOCAL RULES OF THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF GEORGIA
Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2071(b), notice and opportunity for comment is hereby given of proposed amendments to the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. The public comment period is from Monday, March 23, 2026 to Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
A copy of the proposed amendments may be obtained on and after Monday, March 23, 2026 from the court’s website .
A copy may also be obtained without charge from the Office of the Clerk, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia in the Augusta, Brunswick, or Savannah Divisions .
Comments on the proposed amendments may be submitted in writing to the Clerk of Court at the above addresses, or electronically via localrules@gas.uscourts.gov , by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
