Reappointment of Incumbent Bankruptcy Administrator - Southern District of Alabama

The current five-year term of Mark S. Zimlich, United States Bankruptcy Administrator for the Southern District of Alabama, expires 14 June 2020. As authorized under the Regulations of the Judicial Conference of the United States Governing the Bankruptcy Administrator Program, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit has established a review committee to consider whether Mr. Zimlich should be reappointed to a new five-year term. The bankruptcy administrator is responsible for supervising trustees and debtors in possession and ensuring that such persons effectively administer the district’s bankruptcy estates under Section 1334 of Title 28, United States Code.
